This Privacy Policy explains how Islamic Tweet (“the App”) handles information when you use the App.

Information and permissions

The App may request device location to provide location-dependent features such as prayer-related functionality and Qibla direction. Permission can be denied or changed in your device settings.

Location and third-party reverse geocoding

When location functionality is used, the App may obtain latitude and longitude from your device. If the App cannot identify your city using its built-in location catalog, these coordinates may be sent over the internet to the Nominatim reverse-geocoding service, which uses OpenStreetMap data, to determine a city and country. Location coordinates may therefore be processed by this third-party service and are subject to its applicable policies.

Local storage

The App uses local device storage, including SQLite and preferences, for settings and application functionality. The App is designed as an offline-first application and includes local religious content such as Quran, Hadith, Azkar and Duas.

Notifications and background tasks

The App may schedule local notifications and perform background tasks for reminders and prayer-related functionality. Notification permission may be controlled through device settings.

Internet and audio

Some functionality may require an internet connection, including network-based services and audio streaming where applicable.

Accounts, advertising and sale of data

Based on the current version of the App, it does not provide user account/login functionality and does not include advertising SDKs. We do not sell users' personal information.

Data retention

Information stored locally remains on the device according to the App's functionality and device settings. Location coordinates sent for reverse geocoding are handled by the applicable third-party service according to its own practices and policies.

Children's privacy

The App is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children beyond information necessary to provide requested App functionality. Parents or guardians may contact us with privacy concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its services, or legal requirements change. The updated date will be shown on this page.
